Vpop artists are like modern day ''Frankenstein'' and Jekyll and Hyde

They dress and do makeup like Kpop stars. But the music does not represent how they look like, when they just drown us with boring and uninspired ballads.

Vpop is all video and images.  There's no musical artistry involved.  Pretty much simple attention getter with no substance.

Lol, it’s a business model. Hip hop tune, get plastic to fit certain look. The band come before the singers. That pretty much defines pop. It fits Asian conformist mindset.

But out of the pile you get some gems. It’s a tough business and coming from a poor country, many time true artists starve.

I kind of feel bad for them living in such a shwithole.  No matter how much money they attain in their life time, there is this quiet insecurity that they are less than Koreans and Japs, which most of thus don't give a fug about living in the West.

I like how you worded it, Gaden. Sounds so philosophical, but so DAMN true about the state of Vpop. But we have to excuse them. Vietnam is still a third world and developing country. In time, they will find their true sound. Not the Frankenstein mashup they are doing now.

It's a shame that they have to play to the kids to develop their music.  Kids doesn't need any cultural enrichment.  Just make a few sounds show a few videos butt wiggling and they will follow.  It's just a sad thing for the true artists who doesn't get any recognition and for the people who enjoy music.

Ever notice how people don't do the covers of Vpop songs?  They play it once and throw it away.
