It's the Japanese Friendship garden.  You never knew?  I think most people just take their date their to smootch.

San Jose is so spread out. I guess their gardens are overshadowed by San Francisco's but this is great to know. If I'm ever in SJ I'll consider paying a visit.

Is Jewish food like Mediterranean food?

They certainly share a lot of similarities in ingredients given the fact that Israel is also in the Western Mediterranean hemisphere and shared a common trade route, but when it comes to "Jewish" as a religious identity rather than an ethnic one, then that's where it begins to take variations. For example, there are a lot of Russians (ethnic/national) who practice Judaism. Some crossovers might be kosher adaptations in traditionally Russian cuisines. Eastern Mediterranean people use more spices in their food.

Baklava is a great example of dessert that originated from Greece (originally Orthodox Christian) but now is a common menu item in Israel (Judaism) and Turkey (Muslim).

The Japanese Friendship garden is on Senter Rd, across from the San Jose Giants baseball stadium.  The surrounding area was recently heavily flooded so right now isn't the best time to visit.  I like to stop by on Sundays, preferably before afternoon to catch a little quietude and serenity.

To the right of the garden is Kelly Park, a huge picnic/bbq area and hiking trails.

Thanks for the heads up @Olive Juice! I definitely would like to check this place out. The rain has been taking a toll on quite a few national parks as well.

OH WAIT A MINUTE. I passed by this place before! It was closed so I couldn't check it out. But I picked up this a block away. It's a Golden State Warriors Japanese Pufferfish mashup tee  ;)

I got this shirt from San Jose's Japantown area. It was their way of representing GSW I guess. Pretty cool shirt, nonetheless. Lol thanks. Nice, uhh, corn?

Pufferfish makes good sushi even though they are poisonous.  I think the puffer fish symbolizes great rewards when you go through tough endeavors.  Which I still don't know why there's any relation to Golden Gate Bridge.  Maybe the Bridge is a death trap, idn..

I tried to make dimples on my face but couldn't. Maybe it's because my face is fat ans square. Not sure how people do that.

Genetics ;). Dimples are a genetic mutation...but one I don't mind. I've never eaten pufferfish before. Not sure if it's legal in California, let alone the United States. GSW's symbol is the golden gate bridge, silly!
