Do young Vietnamese in VN listen to Viet Oldies?
« on: December 30, 2014, 06:10:30 PM »
I've been listening to Vietnamese singers in VN and some of them sing really old Vietnamese songs, pre-war days.  Not only that but the audience seem to know those songs themselves.

Mỹ Dung is a singer from the Hanoi.  Someone yelled out to her to sing 'Túp lều lý tưởng',  which is song used to entertain Southern Vietnamese soldiers a long time ago.

I do.  If you consider 48 years old young.  It is like background music for me as I listen to it so much.
