Do you eat left over?
« on: February 05, 2018, 08:13:30 PM »
I feel bad throwing food away but some dishes don’t taste good as left over like anything with veggies like soup or sautéed, or fried fish.

Braised dishes like thich Khoa or ca Kho, or curry is ok.

heck yeah. even at the buffet, if people can't finish it they give it to me.  and at work my co-workers always give me their left over lunch that they do not want to take home for some reason. They said  I am a food dumpster.

I try to eat everything on the plate so as to prevent leftover, and binge eating if I have to.  Sometimes I eat enough for two days and skip eating the next day.  I think I develop that habit because I watch too many lion shows, they binge eat then lie around the next day.

best way to preserve anything is to heat it up until boiling, wait for everything to cool down, put a plastic wrap over, and leave everything inside the fridge at +4 degree celsius.   Meat can last up to 5 days using this method.

meat usually no problem. Vegetables yes, they don't spoil, just get very soggy and lose flavor. I think the more delicate something is, the harder it is to preserve flavor.
