Some one said 'Nghe muốn tự tử' after listening to this song.

I don't know. Maybe b/c VN people throughout history have a hard life. It seems a common sentiment to feel sorry for oneself.

Just listen to vong co. It's like country music.

I feel like crying after listening to a few seconds of it. The only thing that kept me from bawling is my my hair gets in the way.

It seems like the whole entertainment industry in the past was cai luong or vong co and nothing else. I think cai luong has some intriguing story lines that they can create movies and plays on TV for the general audience. So pretty much everything in the entertainment industry is sad stuff.

I think this song is about his wife leaving him and family.

As I get older, I like to listen more and more to nhac sen.  It is not the music for losers but for life winners because this music genre emphasizes humility and when you are at the top of your game you really need a dose of it.

This is the saddest song I've ever heard.  Picking up the ashes of your heart.

Xác pháo nhà ai

This music always makes me want to roast some coffee :)

So I think sad songs is an offshoot of coffee culture.  You really can´t listen to the modern EDM stuff while trying to ponder why you are in Lu cafe at 10pm or whether you have been good to your mother last week.
