Title: Asian gentleman virtues do not work inside Chinese Seafood Buffet
Post by: Qu Đơn on October 27, 2017, 04:10:06 PM
So you held an empty plate walking up to the steamed crabs section when you saw an old Asian lady with one hand holding a plate and the other a walking stick.  As any gentleman would do, you took a step back, and let the lady helped herself.  She took EVERY single crab leg.  WTF!

You did the right thing. I was at  buffet meal after my nephews violin recital. An ols lady just cut in front of me while i was already in line and took all of the delicious stuffed fried crab. A little girl followed her example i guess they must be related. I sternly told the girl to get to the end of the line.

I didnt tell tell old lady to buzz off bc i had some manner but i can teach the youngster.  Old people are allowed some slack i guess bc they are old.

I think the Asian etiquette is to joust with tongs.  Do not wait in line because people will just think you're a waiter ready to help.  Proper way to to use blocking positions like a lineman in football.
