Maybe it is a generational thing. Older generation have different beauty standard than the younger generation :)

Do all the younger generation have the same taste as you? If so then that probably is the standard in Vietnam now since it is the young generation that consume entertainment the most and set standards.

Older generations love Vietnamese drama, shows, movies, and music.  They consumed as much or more entertainment than the young kids. The only difference is they preferred Vietnamese drama and Vietnamese music influence entertainment. The young generation is into hip hop and Korean fads.  Thus, its incorrect to say the youngins set the standard for what is considered attractive.

True, but not all young generation kids are obsessed with K-Pop and hip hop.  There are normal ones, and many of them will grow out of it and gravitate towards a normal natural beauty standards.

Ok so even among younger generation, Dat's taste is not the majority?
Who are some current famous Vietnamese female celebrities known for their beauty?
They should be a good indicator of current Vietnamese standard.

why doesnt sailor neptune show her natural beauty and instead amp up the lighting on her foto by 10,000????? Her avatar foto is actually very brown without the unnnatural lighting she gave herself. I thought she was proud to be brown????  -shrug

Lol, someone is mad because I don't worship his Korean idols. I have posted other pictures before, meaning I am happy with the way I look including my skin tone.  If you look at the group picture, my skin tone is the same as my friends. -loco

First person that popped up in my mind is the famous Vietnamese singer Nhu Quynh.  She has a beautiful voice and I think she is very beautiful.  She is known for her voice and beauty.

She's beautiful but very different from EA standards. If she is one of Vietnam's famous celebrities that most people find beautiful then I think you are right that Vietnam have different beauty standards from EA.

Vietnamese people have their own standard of what is beautiful.  That is why I do not get members who only post extremely EA looking females, and insist that is the standard or members like Zeratul who throws tantrum and get upset when I rejected his people as the standard of beauty for our country.

Here is Miss Universe Vietnam Huong Pham

She is what we would considered as beautiful too.

Duy Nhan's wife would be considered beautiful also.  Vietnamese people have a variety of looks, it may be individual preferences on what is more beautiful, but all the women I posted would be considered as beautiful in Vietnam.

gaden is a middle-aged oversea vietnamese so obviously he has a different taste compared to a youngster like me who shares the same view with majority of Vietnamese lol

What the hell? Which one of my pictures do you see that belongs to the older generation?  All of my girls belonged to a generation that is probably much younger than you.  I've done research by going to tea bars and getting fine boba tea to learn what the is hip nowadays because I want to be cool.  And what do you do?  You listen to Kpop and called yourself an expert?

Listen here buddy, here is a show about what Vietnamese youngsters are following.  Do you see any of your girls there?

She is below average but that looks like an old picture.  With a little of today's makeup she could be hot.

Her phenotype is kind of common in VN.
