Vietnamese Mona Lisa?
« on: March 03, 2017, 09:35:52 PM »
This picture looks like the Mona Lisa to me.  She has a sly smile and that look of naturalness that beckons.

*facepalm* Oh @gaden :p

From what I've read, Mona Lisa is known to impart either a facial expression of longing or a slight albeit sweet smile depending on the person. This woman you just posted here looks a bit frustrated, like that betel nut she's been working on hasn't exactly yielded the effects she was hoping for, yet.

She has that smile and longing expression like the Mona Lisa, and a little playfulness with the hand on her lips.  See that stare that beckons?

It's way too obvious though. Her right hand is a dead giveaway. Her eyes are a bit difficult to read.

Were you beckoned by her?

Well...I was a little bit beckoned.  But it's the artistry of the picture that draws me, and it's similarity to the Mona Lisa.

Fair enough. I do like the lighting and artistic pose to this photo. Many of the subjects in these historic photographs are often so stern.

You don't see nothing in the eyes?  She's saying "Eh, how ya doin'? What you think about coming over and chewing some betel with me, eh? You like my black teeth? You think it's sexy?"
