I've been buying something almost every day.

Unbelievable. I've been buying clothing online almost every day.

3 pairs of white boots from Nordstrom. I will only keep one pair but I ordered different sizes to see which one fits best.

just got a pair of leather cowboy boots from TJmax. Cute but I saw something I liked better so I just ordered that. In addition, I saw some really cute suede high boots, it has memory foam and supposed to be comfort boots. I need high boots so I can wear dresses in the winter.

you´re trying to fill an empty void.  I do this too, well nearly all the time.  The thing is that I am not even that happy once they have arrived.  Checking the tracking information is probably the most pleasant part of the process.  However, I am talking about discretionary purchases though, things like toilet paper, milk and eggs I order weekly online.  I am trying this frozen meals plan where they send me enough foods for one week in the mail and I just microwave the thing.  I love beef jerkey and Amazon is just beef jerkey paradise.

Yeah, the high is in the buying. Then I return them.

I try to buy from brick and mortar store so I can return or places that offer free returns but sometimes I get stuck.

Got a sweater on Ali express that’s too small. Opened a dispute hope I get all my money back.

Maybe I haven’t found a good vnmese one. Years ago, I found a dress I really liked. Had a vnmese Taylor alter it, she messed up the zipper. I can do simple hemming. Loose fitting clothes just belt it. Hardest thing is shoulder. I just got a super cute quality puff sleeve top from anthropology. The neck too wide and deep. I just thought of putting elastic in the shoulder. Keep my fingers crossed.

Vietnamese people you have to test them out.  Very few are well rounded.  Some are really good at hemming and sleeve works while others are better at chest pinching and shoulder works.  Their prices are also all over the place.  Go to the ones that have a whole organization planned out, with more than 2 or 3 full time workers in the back.  One person´s shop I usually avoid.  Build a relationship, send them Christmas cards, and they will treat you like family.  I bought some very nice English cashmere fabrics on ebay and they made them into blankets with silk edgings for me.   Half of the price of Yves Delorme and Frette but even nicer.

The same is true with cobblery. Most of them are now Hispanics from Central America.  Their works are sloppy as hell, and I do not trust them with my nice shoes.  Solution?  Buy many pairs so they never need to be resoled.  ;)  When I find a good Vietnamese cobbler, I will get my old shoes resoled.  That said, it´s much cheaper to just go to Vietnam for 1 month and get all these services done.  Pay them an extra $100 and everything you need is delivered in one week.
