Probably find some applications of linear algebra and you can appreciate it's concepts. In high school I was writing computer games much like Flappy Bird utilizing linear algebra. In college I was writing games of shooting pool, with ball trajectory with drag components. There are other applications in my work place where I have to use linear algebra to determine cost and improvement savings in financing, also lab data analysis with process experimentation with charts and graphs.

So pretty much the mathematical theory is pretty boring and mesmerizing if you don't have a practical way of using it.
