China's economic slump in part due to robotic work force
« on: September 19, 2019, 07:26:20 PM »
It means millions of jobs are being lost to robots so even though people are buying more things and spending more cash there is actually slightly less growth due to all those lost jobs.  Those lost jobs which would have paid out billions of dollars.

By the way the guy doing these videos is a Filipino.  He only does videos on Chinese advancements.  Only.

This is like saying riding a horse is better than driving a car due to horses farming providing more jobs than cars manufacturing.

Automation should give more growth in the long term, not less.

I think you can work on your analogies a bit before posting them lol  You don't have to pretend you know something to comment on something you don't actually know about and then lose face in the process.

And did I mention long term?  A slump is by definition like a rut, distinctive in of itself, so temporary.

And it's not about which jobs are provided in the scenario it's about which jobs are taken away which in the case of the Chinese probably caught millions off guard the same way Huawei's superior camera phones caught the camera industry by total surprise and collapsed it within a matter of years.

Huawei is already selling its 5G tech. People know that Huawei days are numbered and all of Huawei tech will be sold to other companies. China is losing jobs due to Huawei being banned, not due to Huawei automation efforts. Of all the comparisons for automation, you choose to use Huawei which is a dead man walking. People simply don't need Huawei tech, thats why its banned.

This dumbass Chinatroll discombobulates my axonal firings.  If Chinese poor peasants are losing jobs to robot why do Viet peasants have so much more jobs?  why is low-cost inefficiency being rewarded? Even Mexicans (much higher standards of living than Chinese and cost more per hour) have so much jobs you need to lure them with delicious burrito tied to hundred dollar bills to even get them to approach the border wall.  Why is high-cost inefficiency being rewarded?  It has to do with market access.  The world works to provide comforts and luxuries for Americans.  No one cares about the mercurial Chinese consumption except for the French and their luxury leather goods.

China´s downfall basically comes down to bragging too much.  Peaceful rise was awesome.  Nine dash line I take over your mom's backyard is not. -kissyface -kissyface -kissyface

Because Vietnamese peasants aren't making high quality things.  Chinese jobs are ever being shifted from human assembly line to high tech manufactures that you can't do by hand and pretty soon can't even design by human brain alone.  God even the kindergarden kids around the rest of the world are probably being taught this so that they won't lose out on how to deal with the situation when the time comes.

And the Mexicans have a gdp growth of 2 percent so by the time of 2025 when you know what is supposed to happen they've already fallen behind and can't hope to catch up at the rate they are going kind of like how light from beyond the edge of the observable universe keeps on going but will never reach us.  And by that time the Chinese will already have had a PPP equivalence of roughly twice the US now.
