Anthony Bourdain Tribute Tour in Vietnam
« on: February 18, 2020, 10:32:23 AM »

Quote
Chris Collins, the TV producer that worked with Bourdain to develop No Reservations and Parts Unknown, also said that his on-screen persona was nothing like the real person. Their first outing — to Japan — was a nightmare, mostly because Bourdain "did not engage with us. He would not acknowledge our presence..." and that he was very, very shy. That only changed in Vietnam, where he found an "instant cultural touchstone" that brought him out of his shell. The list of countries that Anthony Bourdain travelled to is impressive, covering all seven continents. But he did do a bit of travel before he became a famous chef who globetrots for a living. So what was it that made him want to do more in life and see more of the world? Bourdain told Men's Journal that his "first trip to Japan — a couple of years before Kitchen Confidential — was absolutely life changing. It was like my first acid trip. It was that mind-expanding and climcatic [sic]." That's because he was able to see the world in an entirely new way. He continued, "I went there thinking there were a certain amount of primary colors. I came back knowing, in fact, there were 10 or 12 more. It made me want to do things. It showed me there was so much more in the world than I had any idea about — there was so much to learn and there was so much stuff out there." That's proof that travel can indeed be transformative.

He was a heavy drug user and smoker which influence his personality and decisions.  Not sure why he would hanged himself.  Maybe on impulse.

Relationship problems can lead to depression.

High vibes foods can help to recharge the body into a better state of mind.

Massage too.

Liquid of rejuvenation from wild grass.

I love making hot stone massages at steaming room  :D

But no food nor massages are able to help with REAL problems which people have. They can create better bonding and help communication but  you just have to solve your real problems.
First choose a value match as to your partner, that fixes alredy a lot of problems and prevents fights. Talk all important things to see your values.
Second take someone who can talk because talking is the way to solve the problems.
Third don't try to "win" your spouse in everything but instead love your spouse in everything  -heart You are not competing enemies but you supposed to be on the same side. It is not easy to respect our spouses when we disagree but it is something what keeps the relationship going. Also both should give as much, not just another.
And always end the ship if that does not work, meaning of relationship is not to make people unhappy and depressed, then you just don't fit together and that is perfectly fine  -heart

Depression can be a huge emotional drain for some.

It feels like being pulled into deep water by a riptide, a totally helpless and unnerving experience for the uninitiated.

Quote
Instead of swimming against the rip current, you want to swim perpendicular to it, in either direction. Rip currents are typically only 20-100 feet wide. Once you leave the rip, swim at an angle away from it towards the shore.

Likewise, the solution to the love riptide is to only surround yourself with people and things that you cherish.

Positive environment makes for happy people.

It's that simple.

Keeping pets is another way to stay mentally balance.

Animals are great sources of companionship.
