Anonymity is a privilege in Asia, and the real power is always behind the throne. Here you can see Empress Dowager Cixi sitting behind the curtain to rule over the boy king. It's just how things work.

I really like the details of this painting, incredible artistry.

Wow!  That's the best flan I've ever seen!  I'm salivating.

Maybe it's Halloween and that's his homemade mask.  I once made a robot head mask like that.

I have a flan recipe that’s pretty easy too. And cheaper to make then his because you use the whole eggs and condense milk rather than heavy cream Which is expensive. But I also like his recipe bc it’s easy unlike many vnmese flan recipes.

I like how the cat slurped down the flan in a zippy.

Simplicity is always better. Only eggs and condense milk are need.

I used to buy evaporated milk, but found that it's totally different from the condense milk I normally use.

Quote
The products are made for use in cooking. In both of them, about 60 percent of the water in fresh milk has been removed. They’re processed in very distinct ways, which gives them individual qualities, but the main difference is that condensed milk is always sweetened. It’s great for pie fillings, puddings, and more. Evaporated milk, which is unsweetened, is good for soups and as a creamer for coffee and tea drinks. It also works well for dishes in which a creamy texture is desired. Both products are highly shelf stable, so they’re easy to keep on hand for various uses.

I have refined the recipe a little. Add maybe 1/3 cup milk to make the flan lighter.

Same guy, potato cake. I don’t like the cheese filling so I’ll make it without filling.
