Vietpop future

As I observed Ballad is no longer most popular. Up beat dance pop, RB, Rap are more popular now.

The recent two good ballad song released got less than half the views compare to the other upbeat songs which just released less than a week.

Meaning Viet youth have different taste of music unlike their parents. Which could explain when kids are born after war.

water falls to its level. A music in any culture tends to settle into what is natural to it. Asian music has the tendency towards sentimental tempo.

I would say today's Vpop is more 60/40 ballads----->other genres. But most of the ballads aren't charting like before. Only from top artists.
