Vietnam needs to change their political system

Communism is a outdated and dumb system. I do not think Vietnam will adopt a western democracy anytime soon. But what they can do is to rebrand their socialism ideology to be more benevolent. They can start by introducing a two-party system. Allow criticism of goverment and follow some western values. They just need to move away from China. Nobody likes China nowadays. For being the source of the pandemic, copying and stealing other cultures, spying on their own country men, introducing a repressive social credit system, having concentration camps, and basicially being a bully. They are surrounding by enemies than friends, and it's just a matter of time before the islamic countries turns their back on them and unleash the hordes of jihadists up on them.

No.  No one in the VCP is that selfless and has independent thinking to give up on power.  The spark or igniter for change is just not there and there is no solution to go about it.  Although Communism expounds on being selfless and embarks equality, they embrace capitalistic principle of greed to run the economy.

There might be a chance when they send students overseas to learn and compare capitalist vs communist systems.  But I'm afraid communism instills nationalism in kids at an early age that limits their desire for change.  Whatever they have they will think it's good enough.
